First purchase? Commander Mini questions

So, for the price in 2024 I've mostly come to the conclusion that the C-Mini 50s seems to be the choice for me as my first EUC.

Suspension, solid top speed that can keep up with the best, under $3K, etc.

Let me know your impressions, and what you think about your mini. Whether you're a first timer, or its your 17th EUC purchase.

I'd also like to know how it fairs in rain. I know it's not considered water-proof, but I haven't heard from anyone who's had a problem with water specifically on a mini. It's easy to say it has trash water-proofing without actually owning one- but I'm asking for input from those who actually currently own or have owned a mini. I read a comment from someone stating that they've practically abused it through all weather types and it's still going strong for them. Another stated they've rode it multiple times in the rain with no issue. Just wondering if anyone else has had this same experience in terms of riding it through rain specifically. Also heard that a simple silicone mod could help, I don't know.

And for those who have bought the mini recently, (or also dislike this oversight) does it still have the 24/7 generic blinking tail light on the back? If so, do you forget about it or have you modified it in any way to prevent or hide the (what i would consider) annoying blinking? thanks.

To the others here, if you have any links, discount codes, or recommendations for an EUC with suspension and a top speed of 45-50mph under $3K, let me know. I'm still not 100% on my decision, but the mini seems hard to beat for what you get- performance per dollar.
