Is it worthwhile to get a Ham Radio license?
I'm an Electrical Engineering student that hasn't taken a single Electrical Engineering class, so I feel like I don't yet have the necessary skills or knowledge to work on projects, apply for internships, or do basically anything else that would help me to build up my resume. I have a pretty well-rounded knowledge of the math and physics, but my engineering skills are non-existent.
What initially attracted me to Electrical Engineering was radios and a ham radio license to me seems like a viable way to bolster my resume and to broaden my understanding of radio theory. Do you think it's worthwhile to obtain this license or should I strive for something else?
