Hey fellow entrepreneurs,
What: I’ve been working on an idea and would love your thoughts, especially from founders, entrepreneurs, or indie hackers. The concept is a "networking platform" specifically for people building something—whether it’s a startup, a side project, or a small business. Here’s how it would work:
Why: I talk with one of my friends everyday, every single time, we figure out new ideas, discuss random things and randomly we figure out some really cool ideas. so what if we spend time on a application chatting with like minded people/founders/ wanna be founders. some conversations turn out shit/useless, some can turn into problem solving applications. you can make some friends. maybe you both start working on something together.
How
- Random Connections: Users log in and get matched with one of the person who’s online at that moment.
- After matching, each person sees a short profile of the other (e.g., their name, what they’re working on, and their one-liner about themselves). The chat encourages discussions like:
- What they’re currently working on.
- Ideas or projects they’ve been exploring.
- Challenges they’re facing or tips they could offer.
- Over time, this platform could help people:
- Find co-founders.
- Get feedback on ideas.
- Build relationships with like-minded people in the same space.
Would this idea be interesting to you as a founder or builder? What would make you want to use it regularly? I’d love to hear your feedback—positive or critical. Thanks in advance!
TL;DR: A platform that randomly connects founders and entrepreneurs for meaningful discussions, networking, and potential collaborations. Looking for feedback.
Would this work? What would you add or change? should i scrap this idea?
