Idk what I did wrong

I romanced Tifa in FF7 rebirth and I just didn’t get the kiss scene in my version, it just skipped over it after the hug. I was like oh that sucks till I looked it up and saw the actual version and I was so confused. Why did my version skip over it? I’m playing on the Australian version is that maybe why?
