Splitting a 24 fiber ribbon
I'm building a case tomorrow that has two 288ct ribbon cables with 24 fiber ribbons. I've never handled these ribbons before and do not have a splitter tool. Is it really as easy as this youtube video makes it look? My other thought was to cut the tip at an angle and peel apart the two halves, same as I would to take a 12 fiber ribbon down to singles.
