How to create parallax/scroll-over effect for element halfway down page?

I'm trying to create a product page that has a static video section halfway down the page, and I'd like the contents to "reveal" the video and then "cover" it as you scroll through the page. This used to be an effortless effect to achieve with Adobe XD, but I am new to Figma and struggling. So far, the only option I see is to set an object to fixed no scroll, but it sets it as the top layer on my design and covers everything up with the video.

Is there an easy way to do this?
