Literally the new chapter with recent signs of story development, this is another form of bad writing

Santino is extremely out of character on this one, sure I get that he's mad at Tanggol for disappearing on him when he needed him the most, and that's justified. But they took his anger and resentment off the rails when Rigor got beaten up so bad, it's like he and Marites forgot how much of a bad father/husband he is in this scene.

To recap about Rigor, who is a terrible excuse of a father, beats up Tanggol, abused his wife, spoiled his other son, brought his mistress home with him that almost got his wife and mother in law killed later on, beats up both his eldest fake son and youngest son during a fucking funeral of all times. Let's not forget that one time he beaten Santino for boxing and arrestee him for a murder he didn't come it, while he did proved that Santino at that, it still wasn't enough for Santino, and that's justified because of how shitty of a father Rigor is.

But then when he gets beaten to a pulp by Tanggol (and rightfully so) Santino and Marites suddenly give a shit about him??? Like wtf???

Oh well, I guess I gotta do as usual, give this show more chances and see how this may turn out.
