Who among us has successfully completed a micro-budget feature?

Just wondering who here has actually reached completion on a self-funded micro-budget feature? If so, how did you do it, what did it cost, and what advice do you have? How many days did it take to shoot, how small was your crew, did you actually find decent actors, etc, etc?

For context. I'm currently writing a feature script with the intention of self-funding it. The purpose of the film is essentially to satisfy the requirement of most film grants which typically state "the Producer/Director/Writer must have at least one credit for this type of production to qualify". So basically it's to give myself a chance of securing grants for bigger projects later on. The success of this film is not critical, only the actual completion of it to a respectable quality, and perhaps screening at some regional festivals. I am willing to basically write off the expenses as a loss/career investment. There's no point in doing a proof-of-concept short as that would not qualify me for the feature-film grants and would just be further sunken costs. Currently I run a small commercial production company so have access to all equipment and good connections to crew, and I'd be doing the bulk of the work myself. (I'd direct, DP and edit, probably hiring an AC, Gaffer and Sound mixer at a minimum). I'm keeping the script as simple as possible (it'll be an "alone in the woods" thriller with 3 main characters and limited supporting characters, and fairly generic locations which can be sourced on local farms/properties).

Am I crazy for thinking this is feasible?
