What path would you steer me toward, given what you know?

Hey redditors! I'm looking for some serious career advice. I’ve already got my Series 7 and SIE licenses and will soon have my Series 66. I recently left Equitable Advisors because the starting salary would’ve had me surviving on ramen for a while. I’m confident there are better opportunities out there that will allow me to make good use of my licenses.

I’m looking for a stable job with a starting salary of at least $60k, with the potential for bonuses and room for advancement. Alternatively, I’d be interested in an associate role that could eventually lead to becoming a financial advisor. My experience includes sales and cold calling, plus working as a Financial Advisor assistant for the past four months.

I've noticed a lot of people are breaking into the industry with roles like paraplanner, client services (taking calls), FA assistant at a wirehouse, or an associate at an RIA. But I'm not sure which jobs I should be applying for. I’ve already applied for roles like Financial Rep and Financial Services Rep at Fidelity, as well as some financial planner positions, but haven’t had any luck so far.

I’m open to working up to 60 hours a week, but I left my previous job because the pay wasn’t cutting it, and I was clocking 75-80 hours a week. If anyone has any advice or can suggest roles that could help me break into the industry, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks!
