[Update] Seller’s ex-husband is blocking the sale and DIRECTLY emailed us

We waited for the July 1 hearing, only to find out today that it DID NOT OCCUR. We still don’t know why. The seller’s agent is claiming that neither she nor the seller have been able to get in touch with the seller’s lawyer since the time of the hearing.

If what they claim is true, and the seller’s lawyer has effectively ghosted them both, I’m having trouble believing the seller’s terrible luck. It’s all very hard to believe at this point.

We are at a loss. We didn’t think this situation could get any worse – or weirder. Another hearing is scheduled for July 24, but we have no details.

If the first two hearings that were scheduled didn’t take place, why would a third be any different?

We’ll be out looking at other houses again this weekend.
