Just had my first reaction to food

It was lemon ginger tea. Hal an hour after I started drinking my throat and sinuses started swelling, my whole mouth was itchy, had a hard time breathing and within 5 mins my heart rate shot up from 85-140. I had to by OTC benadryl, one that kicked in I drove to the walk in clinic where they told me it was an allergic reaction. No prior history of allergies to anything. They treated me there and gave me medicine to help. I'm only 29...

I can't afford epi pens, an ambulance or a hospital stay.
