Knowledge comes with a cost

It seems that some people in here assume this is referring to Tabitha and the hole, because MIY goes in to talk about the hole AFTER the knowledge line, but right BEFORE he says this, he says “that Jade sure can play. This didn’t have to happen you know.” I don’t think this “knowledge comes with a cost” has anything to do with Tabitha and the hole under the house. I think MIY means that the song brought them knowledge but it also freed him. Like “okay, you learned something new (the children, the resurrection cycle, etc) but at the cost of waking me.” Seemed obvious to me, but just thought I’d post my thoughts since I’ve seen the discussion tend to go towards the hole under the house with regard to that line.
