Do Grade 8 / Year 9 grades affect GCSE level

I’ve been stressed out studying all day and I’m just concerned that if Grade 8 grades affect GCSE level , my school has given me a small paper regarding every subject and they are pretty disappointing I have a B+ in generally all GCSE subjects and that is also affecting my predicted AS Level which is C , now I’m not much into knowing how GCSE works but if y’all can explain it will be highly appreciated
