Pixel 8 Pro vs S24 Ultra

I had both devices when the S24 Ultra came out and returned the S24 Ultra since the camera was a bit of a letdown.

I've been traveling this week and am finally seeing just how bad the battery is on the Pixel. When I'm home, I'm on WiFi most of the day and the Pixel gets me through a day, but on mobile data it just struggles.

I've been thinking about getting the S24 Ultra again to get rid of battery anxiety, but the camera still seems a bit rough compared to the Pixel.

Camera performance is a top priority for me since I take a lot of pictures of my kid. Is the decrease in camera quality worth the switch?

And before people comment with things like "S24 Ultra is the best camera" and then post a picture of a tree or something, please don't. I'm mostly concerned with camera performance of people and motion.
