Applying for background verification without aadhar card (Indian citizen)

I finally got my GEO S ID from passport seva via email. As I continue to fill out the application form in step 2, (applicant details) it is asking me for pan card, aadhar card etc. I have Pan but don't have aadhar. The aadhar card field doesn't appear mandatory, but I get a pop up to fill out the details, without which it won't let me proceed further. Is there a way around this ?
