First Gold

I have purchased 40 oz of silver this year. I got a promotion and would like to spend my first check on a 1 oz Gold coin/bar. What would be your first coin/bar to purchase and why? I am partial to the Kruger because of its history and also in my favorite movie Lethal Weapon.
