For the people who graduated from undergrad with a low GPA and managed to get into grad school; did you address your low GPA in your SOP?

I want to address it but every phrase comes off as an excuse rather than a justification, there isn’t any positive phrases to address my low GPA even when I tried to spin it and make it as a “hardship that I overcame”.

Is there a point of addressing the low GPA or should I just not mention it and focus on highlighting my accomplishments?
