Advice Please

I have played this game off and on (because I suck lol) and absolutely love it. I stop playing because I know the game requires communication to win, but I have no idea where to begin to actually learn the game and what to do exactly to help. I just basically wing it but I don’t want to let my team down. Any tips and advice would be much appreciated.
