Buying tools

I just accepted a part time histotechnologist position to help make ends meet. My first day of training was rescheduled because I didn't bring my own tools, which was not brought up during the hiring process.

What brand forceps does everyone prefer? Bare minimum, I need forceps and a brush. Does anyone have experience buying these online themselves? Thanks
