Does my attic door need to be replaced?

The attic door does not shut completely. I need a complete seal as the AC return is directly underneath (which will suck air from the attic and cause mold issues). I’ve been keeping it sealed with painters tape but that’s not a long term solution. Many thanks for your advice.
