Small batch lagering

A buddy and I are working on setting up a podcast and part of it is brewing. One thing that I know is difficult for a lot of homebrewers is brewing lagers. I don’t have room for a second large fridge in my apartment, but I do have a small dorm fridge that could possibly hold a 1 gal fermenter. Has anyone lagered a 1 gal batch?
