Imposter Syndrome After Months of Unemployment

Hey guys. So I’ve been out of IT for a while — since November 2023. I’m starting to get some call backs again since it’s January. I worked as a Service Desk and Support Analyst for about five years in my career, and I’m starting to get call backs for positions that are pretty higher level like IT Operations Specialist or Intune Engineer (my resume is pretty well written not going to lie). Great right? Well, I’m seeing that imposter syndrome is creeping up as it did in the beginning of my career. I know I can do it, but after such a long time away, I am worried I would forget certain things or just not be ready. The thought of advising juniors or other service desk techs is what specifically makes me feel like an imposter.
