Story of TTC & success

I saw someone post their success story earlier and thought I should share mine too because that person was right, there are a lot of people on here (myself included) that are looking for success stories to give them hope, and I want everyone to know that it is worth it!

We are FINALLY 7 weeks pregnant with our first. After trying for 2.5 years. Month after month we got that negative test, it was heartbreaking. After 1 year of being unsuccessful we did 4 rounds of Clomid. Diagnosed with unexplained infertility… From there, two rounds of IUI, switched fertility doctors and was re-diagnosed with silent PCOS, from there went on Metformin for 3 months to balance my levels, and then began IVF.

My egg retrieval results were 36 eggs, 26 mature, 6 fertilized, and 3 embryos. We chose not to do PGTA testing. Those numbers were crushing.

But all it took was 1 embryo, first transfer. We have a healthy growing little bean, and honestly, through ALL the pain, needles and suffering I would do it all over again. For whatever reason we couldn’t get pregnant naturally, if it weren’t for IVF I don’t know how much more I could continue to try.

It’s hard mentally, emotionally, and physically. But my goodness, to see two pink lines for the first time in my life was such an incredible feeling.

Stay strong, stay positive, and trust the process 🩷🩷
