Should I take 1 week vacation after fresh tranfert? My boss is in panic mode

We started our first IVF few weeks ago and I had my ER this morning. They told me they got 8 eggs so I was relieved. I know it's not lot but I'm happy with the number since I'm 37 yrs and I have a low ovarian reserve.

Right now, I'm wondering if I should take a week of vacation after the fresh transfert (if we get there), since it's very very stressful at my work.

My boss, who's my friend too, is in panic mode since I told her that I was starting IVF this January. She asked me a lot of questions that felt judgemental and made me uncomfortable. For exemple: - When do you estimate to be pregnant? - You will be absent a lot because of this? You know we're shipping our project soon! - You're doing your fertility treatment for how long??

She also put me a lot of pressure by reminding me each day how much this year will be crazy, how we're bottleneck, how this year will be stressful, etc. It's been 5 years that I'm work at this company with this team/boss. Our relationship is great but it changed since I talked about IVF.

I'm anxious about the idea of her return from vacation in one week. My transfert should be Sunday, so I'm thinking about taking the whole week after and be relaxed. It's a though decision since I don't have a lot of vacation per year, and I don't know if the transfert will work or not. But at the same time, having a child is my most precious project in my life and I don't want to take any risk regarding IVF.
