Repeat Errors on Policy
Auto insurance has twice been told to remove prior vehicle and add new vehicle. All premiums paid. Info sent.
Policy was correct with new vehicle added and old vehicle to be removed as of 8/30/24 printing.
The 9/1 renewal came and they had added the OLD vehicle back and didn't list the new. Oops. Agent assured me all was well and they would request the correct/amended policy.
TWICE they have now sent the policy with the WRONG vehicle still listed and the correct vehicle not on it. The "correction" still shows the old car we do not own and doesnt list the new one).
I don't know why this is so difficult for them to get correct. We speak, we email, we mail.
They still send "amended" policies with the repeat error.
Of course it's now Saturday and I can't reach anyone until Monday. I have emails indicating our correct vehicle is covered but I worry that if we have a claim while this error is still in print that they could try to wiggle out of it.
Hastings Insurance - they're cheap because they're incompetent. 🤣
TLDR
Purchased new car. New car was added to existing auto policy. Old car was removed. All paperwork was in order to bring new vehicle home.
Now renewal comes and the old car is back on the policy, new car is not. Twice the policy has been sent with that same error despite requesting correction.
I'm concerned I'm somehown not actually covered until we get this straight on paper?
Edited for clarity as some thought I was just impatient. This isn't "it is taking too long to do the paperwork." This is "the paperwork WAS correct and they somehow reversed it again."
