Jaguar XF 2016 2.0D Portfolio Salon Automatic (180ps)

I am looking at buying this variant. It has about 38k miles on it, and it’s a one owner car. Has gone through two official services in a jaguar dealer. One service has been done in 2019 (at 22k miles) and another one in 2022 (at 30k miles, they have changed engine oil, renewal of oil and oil filter, renewal of engine air filter, fuel filter, pollen filter and adblue top up). Apparently the guy has done other services but outside and the dealer doesn’t have any records of that. Did a test drive, and the car does feel nice and new. Basically the car has not been used much. Two of the years it’s only been driven for 2k and 5k miles. I have been reading a lot of reviews of the jaguar 2.0D and have come across the common problems : chaining failure, DPF failure, engine cut off and failing to restart. But the jaguar dealer says it’s been through 165 point check system and they did a major service to change the brake pads and discs, replaced the rear wheels and did all the oil and filter changes. The dealer has suggested me to take an added warranty of 2 years as well. It comes with a free 6 month warranty. And he has said it covers everything but windscreens and windows.

What do you guys think about this car? Should I go ahead and buy it or should I reach out to the guy who owned it prior and ask him if he had any issues. The dealer said the previous owner did a swap of this car to get a 2023 jag. Just a little wary of buying this car and I definitely can’t afford if something major fails.
