Nagoya during Sakura season

Hi, I'm traveling to Nagoya late March to early April to hopefully catch the cherry blossoms in full bloom. I'll be with my partner and our 2 kids (6 and 1).

Any suggestions for an 8-day itinerary? I only have Legoland so far for the kids.

Also, where are the best cherry blossoms spots in Nagoya?
