Facebook algorithm gone mad

Hello everyone. I have a Facebook account that I use primarily for keeping in touch with family, occasional work things, and following hobby groups, including several Jewish groups. I hardly ever post. Facebook has gotten increasingly annoying in the last year with suggested groups and accounts to follow. That said, I would usually see things that at least made sense for me, as annoying as it was to scroll through them. Tonight, all of a sudden, most of the random recommended pages are pro Palestinian. The first one I saw was extremely offensive/violent and antisemitic, and I reported it. Facebook responded almost immediately and said that it did not violate their community guidelines. I waited about half an hour and then went back into Facebook and continue to see multiple recommendations for pages with pro-Palestinian flags, free Palestine messages, etc. There was literally nothing about my settings or the other groups that I am a member of that would indicate I would want to see this content. In fact, quite the opposite. I was kind of wondering if this is happening to anybody else? I asked a few family members and so far I am the only one. The obvious answer would be to quit Facebook, which I would love to do, but I kind of need to check it for work at least a few days a week. I feel like I am being bullied, even though I know it’s probably some sort of algorithm. It’s very disturbing.
