I Cancelled My Appointment

With mutual obligations suspended for tomorrow inclusive, I decided to email my provider (APM) and gently remind my worker that I am aware of my rights. I have it scheduled to send at 8am for my 11:30 appointment.

I told her that due to the suspension, I will not be making the 90 minute round trip on public transport to see her.

I pointed out that I had more than exceeded my points target for last month and received 11 rejection emails in the last week. I gently reminded her that APM have done literally nothing to help me find work and barely understand my industry/experience/qualifications.

I wonder what I’ll get in response. I don’t plan on answering my phone tomorrow if she calls, because fuck her I don’t have to. She’s a nosy boomer who loves to pry into my personal life.

Will be very interesting to see if how she approaches me changes.
