Possible Further Connection Between Deadpool Character Nicepool and Justin Baldoni Because IEWU Flower Shop Named After Justin's Children
I've become completely engrossed with the Baldoni/Lively legal drama, as I'm sure we all have, and I recently rewatched IEWU for "research".
I noticed that Lily Bloom's was first named "Maya & Maxim" before it was turned into her flower shop (I couldn't figure out how to get a screen grab from the film, so I found this photo of the shop online).
This is important because the names of Justin Baldoni's children are Maiya and Maxwell. This further convinces me that Ladypool shooting Nicepool in front of the flower shop proves that Nicepool is intended to be a stand-in for Baldoni, plus all of the weird "here comes her new papa" comments Deadpool makes. Others have made the "sage" connection because Baldoni would sage film sets, but Blake and Ryan would have known about this other connection, too.
I don't want to call out the particularly sickening implication that Ryan Reynolds wanted all of this to unfold in front of Justin Baldoni's children because he is a father himself, and that would be particularly heinous, but I do think this makes the connection of Justin Baldoni to the Nicepool character and to this scene stronger.
