KDP or Kindle Vella?

I'm revamping my first book while waiting on queries for my other ones and am thinking of putting it on KDP. I have a friend that has a book on kindle vella and seems to like it but I'm not a fan of the episodic way it is. Any opinions on which one would be better. I'm more just looking for exposure and getting my name out there then to make money. Although money would be cool too. Construction is slow right now lol
