Moving to Lakewood

Hey All! I'm moving to an apartment complex near bear valley from SC. Any recommendations for things to do? Places to stay away from? Restaurants (I love all types of foods) I've visited Golden a few times and always wanted to move west side of Denver. Now my job has taken me there and I've decided on Lakewood for atleast a year. I love camping, climbing, hiking, practically anything with the outdoors
