I just shook a hot lava lamp - any fixes?

The lava had all came to a blob at the top, the lamp hadn't been off in days (maybe weeks) and so I took it off and shook it, like a moron.

I came on this sub and see it is apparently rule number one in what NOT to do - well I did, so what SHOULD I do now to rectify it?

Will it return to normal when it cools? Right now it's a cloudy blue and orange mess. So sad.
