Having trouble with backstabbing stoned

I’ve tried locking on and off, rolling towards her and always far enough away that I can’t get to that small window to trigger the animation. Is there an alternate way to beat her?

I do a technique build with the electric prod thingy and the super long dragon glaive thingy
