In need of an advice

This Mediterranean lizard was on my sidewalk and I got the chance to take it but I noticed that it was blind and tailless. I managed to make it drink some water and I wanted advice on its diet. Not because I intend to keep it but I wanted it to give it a small gift. Can something be done or should I let it go?
