[LotM Newbie] why should I read this story ?

Its a long one, a lot of question. Don't be shy to spoil me, good spoil can even make me excited to read.

I stumbled upon LOTM litteraly yesterday through a youtuber some might know, and discovered this story. I checked some stuff about it here and there, and was wondering if I should read it. However I didn't had a great experience with cultivation story, but since this one receive so much praise...

Lemme ask a couple question, feel free to answer any in any order you feel relevant :

Main cast : how is the main character ? I can enjoy plenty of different protagonist but I do avoid a few, namely the solo type of guy that does most stuff on his own and make the rest of the cast look almost useless. Or those that just farm power for the sake of it.

Power system : I've Seen some stuff, but I'm curious, how creative the story is with the power system, and is it linear in the fight ? I really like hunter X hunter way of handling fight, where various approach can compete against each others so I wonder how the whole pathway system do.

Supporting cast : besides the protagonist, does the other characters receive some great moments too ? Are they really relevant ? Are they tied to the protagonist, or does each follow its own path alongside him.

Female character : are they more than side piece ? I don't per say search for "strong independant women" as much as I hope they can do stuff on their own, without the main lead. You know just being their own character even without the protagonist. Goes also for the antagonist or maybe neutral ones, are they good characters.

Worldbuilding : how interesting is the world to explore ? Is the world more or a place for the character to do their thing, or do we have cool Idea of worldbuilding ? Some surprises about what we knew about the world, or cool places etc...

Outside of the main cast : does event fold and unfold outside of the main cast influence, and also outside of them. Do we have things happening that doesn't directly concern the protagonist, and are here to flesh out outside element such as the world, other factions etc...

Power : is the power system and the progression in it an absolute constant in the story. Is every achievement and move forward tied to your power level ? Are characters that are under the main character level relevant or does once one fall behind in sequence, they're just useless.

Grind : does the main character, and even the cast, mostly seek to level in sequence for the plot and things happen around it ? Or does event unfold, and gaining in power happen to be the solution to it.

Antagonist : are they good ? And are they challenging for the main cast, especialy the protagonist. I heard the so called Klein is pretty busted as time goes on, so I'm also curious, does he just roll over the antagonist ? Or do we have impressive opponent ?

I think that's everything I wanted to ask.

I put each category so if you answer one, two or more just put the name so I know which you answered. Again, if you can hype me with spoiler I'm all for it.
