Runway override?

I’m trying to do a flight from KRDU to DCA. Since I’m headed north I wanted to use runway 5L. I select it, but when I spawn into the game it starts me on RW 23R which is south facing. Other than staring cold and dark and taxiing is there a way to actually get the game to use 5L to take off?
