What can I do?

What can I do better to help enhance my features? I don't usually wear a lot of makeup but I would love some tips on how to improve my look. I have yet to find a lipstick that doesn't look silly on me. I've tried an array of foundations to even out my dark under eyes, my upper lip melasma and just all over uneven skin tone.
