How are you finding partners?

My family is eagerly looking for a partner for my elder brother who is 27. He works in cruise, and is a wine sommelier. Most of the people we are consulting are just going incognito after we are paying them. When they are visiting my place, they say all the good things. Basically “all show no go.” Till now we have paid more than 10,000/- to 7 different people to seek good profiles of women for marriage. But have received only 5-6. This is so weird. Like, the profiles we are getting are mostly unwilling to work after marriage. In the future, just one person earning won’t help. Is there any advice I can get from the married ones here?
