Finally did it! Picked up my first Miata!

Some of you might remember my post a few weeks back about how I had more fun driving a Miata I rented on Turo than my Cayman.

Well, I finally did it! Picked up my 2025 Miata Grand Touring (manual ofc) and couldn’t be happier!

I searched high and low to find this color and in this trim and so glad I did. The red really pops! Will be getting PPF on the front asap.

So happy to be part of the Miata club now!!!

Needless to say it’s everything I wanted and more. I drove it home from the dealership up the CA 1 and had a blast. It amazes me how unlike every other car I drive, I don’t feel the need to go balls to the wall in this car and enjoy driving it at a leisurely pace.

It truly feels like I’m driving a vintage car from 50 years ago. I continue to be in awe at how well Mazda engineers replicated the classic roadster and the level of attention to detail on this car.

I have other cars in my collection that I love, but if one day I had to liquidate everything and keep just one, it’d be the Miata.
