My Xbox controller isn’t working on pc Minecraft

So my controller works as in it inputs like walking etc. However the camera sensitivity varies after sprinting and the A button opens chat.

Yes I’ve looked in the settings and tried changing things. I have looked at all the button mapping and no where does it say that A should open chat
