Does the One Ring and Grief get banned on Monday ?

We Know Nadu is getting the ban.. But Modern has 2 other cards that absolutely need to go. Grief and The One Ring. Both create disgusting play patterns that is just awful to play against and really had no business being printed in the first place.

With that said I don't think they will ban all 3, even though they should because banning the 3 cards would really clean up the meta and let a brand new healthy meta emerge, simply because it would probably be the biggest shake up in the middle of a Modern RCQ season ever. Yet, we would get a meta, for the first time in a long time, that would be wide open to explore new deck ideas refine established ones.

We kinda have an idea of what the top of the meta would look like right now with the bans.

• Boro energy (aggro)
• Frogtide (Tempo)
• Eldrazi/Amulet Titan (Big Mana)
• Storm/Yawg/Goryos (combo)
• Jeskai control/other varients (control)
• Mono Black/Mardu energy (midrange)

And if this is the top of the meta, sans the banned cards.. we have a vibrant meta that almost anyone could find a deck that fits their play style.

In my opinion The One Ring needs to go with Nadu next week, of course a couple of the decks here will need to re-tool if The One Ring gets banned, but why would wizards want to postpone a ban on a card that one could easily argue was a card that was almost as poorly designed as Nadu in the first place? Other than being in the start of an RCQ season, why prolong the inevitable?
