RE Engine & Monster Hunter Wilds

Not that long ago (March 7, 2024), Capcom launched Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2) to much fanfare yet performance issues plagued its launch due to the number of NPCs in the RE Engine (Source & Source). Even months after release, many players on PC are still experiencing issues due to poor performance which contributes to DD2's Mixed rating on Steam (Source).

MH Wilds is picking up steam for a 2025 release using the RE Engine and promising seamless maps that include larger quantities of monsters than seen before. As a MH fan that started in Tri, I want the newest title to do well but other Capcom releases using the same engine are making me concerned.

I really hope the lessons learned from DD2's performance issues were communicated throughout Capcom's other projects & teams. Otherwise, What kind of performance should players anticipate with MH wilds and how good/great of a system should players be expected to have in order to not run into issues?
