Settings to lower heat?

Hey all! I am super new to computers and not very technically inclined.

I have a legion 7i laptop with 4070 and 14900hx.

Running the bench on high with 2560x1600 resolution and frame generation on netted a “good” score of 15998. My temps were spiking above 98 C and the computer was cooking.

I am not super concerned with crazy high graphics. I am looking to tweak game graphical settings to run cooler but still look ok. What should I be tweaking and experimenting with? Ray tracing? Resolution? Thanks!
