Movies with gleefully wicked endings?

As title suggests, I'm looking for movies that end with gleeful, wicked endings. It doesn't have to be horror, but gimme that ending where the villain wins, cackling, where the monster isn't dead and the protagonist is devoured, where the world ends, etc. Several come immediately to mind:

* The Wicker Man
* An American Werewolf in London
* Happiness
