App update?

I've been getting automatically logged off of MFP android app ~ 1x / week, but have been able to log back in until today. Today, every time I try, I get an "invalid password or email" error. I checked my account through my computer and my password/ email is correct. I'm worried it's because I'm using an old version of the app, which I've been avoiding updating for some perks that I worry will go away with an update. Anyone else having trouble with this, or able to bypass this and use the android app without updating?

Update: got tired of logging everything online for 3 days, so I gave in and updated the app :(
