Probably been asked a million times but seriously, how stupid is Putin?

He demolished the population of young working men as they're all busy fighting, he's aligned with superstars like Kim Jong Un who has problems with artillery and Xi Xinping who really doesn't give a shit about him, and Russia has become even more of a laughing stock now that Ukraine has been able to push into Kursk.

Seriously, what was the point of the war? Even a slither of their credibilitt as a "big bad superpower" has gone to waste since the war began. I understand that ego is one thing, but how fucking stupid is Putin to completely demolish Russia as a state, and then cry about Russian society being threatened? The only threat they now have is a nuclear arsenal, but how many of them actually work?

Further question: how tf are some people here in America tolerating Russia's invasion of Ukraine? Can't make this shit up.
