What makes the best mock draft simulator?
Hi all - I’ve used mock draft sims historically and think they are growing in use, but still see tons of gaps and room for improvement.
I’ve created my own as a passion project (just the selection and trade logic) that only works on my own machine.
I’m curious to learn from people like myself what sort of features they love, wish they had, hate, or general interface requests to build something for people to enjoy
Some of my own thoughts : - Clean interface (my picks, picks so far, players, team needs) - Sound a dynamic big board (ability to weigh diff people’s boards or add your adjustments?) - toggles for randomness, boards, speed (others?) - maybe add a free agency element to it as well, be a full scale GM / offseason plan - trade logic with % acceptance (historic trades for ref?) - player write ups - team draft trends and player tags (gritty, speed, size, team captain, etc)
Would love to hear other mock draft degens to hear about what you would want in the best simulator and would love to document the process and build in public!
Thank you all
