Advice needed on communicating your other offers/interviews during job search (especially when you land an interview from a cold email)

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice on navigating Dutch hiring culture respectfully and effectively.

Here’s my situation:

I’m job hunting for a role starting January 2025. A few weeks ago, I had sent a cold email to a Team Leader at a large Dutch company since no junior-level openings were advertised online and I wanted to try something new with respect to my job search to land more interviews.

She responded extremely positively, said she liked my profile and email. She mentioned there are multiple possibilities in the new year on her team, and connected me with the recruiter for an interview. Initially, the recruiter did not respond due to missing the email in the heavy workload of the holiday season but after a follow up, he scheduled an interview for next week. For reference, the Team Leader and Recruiter are both Dutch.

My question:

Should I inform the recruiter about other interviews I have in progress? I recently completed a final round with another company and expect to hear back next week or early January. If they offer me a role, I plan to accept it due to visa constraints. I also have 3 other interviews in January but they are first-round interviews.

I want to approach this professionally and avoid burning bridges, especially as this opportunity came from cold emails and follow-ups and not an online application. I don't want them to feel like I wasted their time, because honestly I did not think the cold email would work out. I expected to be ghosted or told to keep an eye on the website.

Any insights on how to handle this situation while respecting Dutch hiring norms? Thank you so much for any advice!
