I posted 9 shorts and gained 10,000 subscribers
EDIT - OVER 9 DAYS
First up this isn’t meant to be a brag, I want to specifically address something I see from new creators on every app.
If there’s one piece of advice I give to anyone getting into content creation it’s that if your videos don’t perform - make them better.
I can consistently say across all the niches I exist in - if my content isn’t good - it doesn’t perform.
If your videos don’t do well, sure don’t give up immediately but if you’ve posted 10s of videos and they’re dead in the water then something needs to change, it’s not the algorithm, it’s you.
I’m just now getting into YouTube but I have millions of views on TikTok/Insta and even articles written about my content by mainstream news (without my comment).
The only difference between your content and the content of those you think are “successful” is that you’re looking at their winning pages and comparing them to your losing pages.
I have 8 successful accounts across different niches and I’ve lost track of how many unsuccessful ones, safe to say it’s 10+
